| There are a number cruise boat operators in Lakes
Entrance each available every day. Cruises may be taken to
around the Gippsland Lakes, some include meals, cocktails, local
fare or sightseeing. The 'all weather' vessels are operated by knowledgeable locals
with a wealth of information about the region. |

The Lakes Entrance Public Golf Course is
rated as the 77th best golf course in Australia by Golf Digest
Magazine.
The championship course runs along
the sand dunes of the Ninety Mile Beach and offers spectacular views
and many water hazards. Full hire facilities and Pro Shop.
A nine hole golf course and three mini golf courses are also situated in
the town to cater for all levels of golf. |

Paddle boats, catamaran, or surf ski
for hire are located at the far side of the footbridge.
Explore the Gippsland Lakes - three Hire Boat operators provide
boats and no licence is required.
Canoe hire is also available. |

Nyerimilang Park provides a superb view
over the Gippsland Lakes and shady picnic areas in an ornamental
garden surrounding the Historical Homestead. Kalimna West Rd, Kalimna.
The East Gippsland Rail Trail and Discovery Trail are
popular destinations for cyclists. |

The Trestle Bridge at Nowa Nowa is 20 minutes to the east of Lakes
Entrance.

The famous Buchan Caves are about an
hour away and offer fully guided tours throughout the year.
