Situated in the heart of Lakes Entrance, the Banjo Paterson Motel is located next to Griffiths’ Sea Shell Museum and Marine Display on the main Esplanade. As the name suggests, the motel is named after Andrew Barton “Banjo” Paterson, the greatest Australian bush poet, who wrote “The Man from Snowy River” and “Clancy of the Overflow”.
